We offer you a warm welcome to our beautiful newly built home, where you can relax in comfortand use as a base to discover the local area.
We are extremely lucky to be situated on the stunning Heritage Coast, where you can discover fossils embedded in rocks,enjoy dramatic coastlines views, aswell as being able to kick off your shoes and walk along the beautiful golden sandy beaches.
Whilst St Brides Major has plenty of surrounding countryside and coastline to explore, there are also numerous historical sites,small villages with independent shops and plenty of events and activities to enjoy.
We have a vast knowledge of the local area and can help you to make the most of your time here.
Or, you can just sit and relax in our garden and relish the peace and quiet.

We have taken care and consideration to create three luxurious rooms, that capture the spirit of the area.
Each room has its own personal charm… individual and tastefully decorated, but all make you feel that you are home from home.

The Vale of Glamorgan has so much to offer the discerning traveller, and St Bridgets Farmhouse is perfectly placed to cater for those who enjoy a contemporary ‘home away from home’ experience.
OUR ROOMS
We have three bedrooms, each with their own unique character and named after a story or location from the surrounding area… Dunraven, Tusker and Sker. Decorated and fitted to the highest of standards, we are extremely proud of our rooms and hope you will like them as much as us.
THE AREA
St Brides Major is situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, along the Heritage Coastline, so we have plenty of countryside on our doorstep, aswell as some stunning coastal walks to enjoy.
BREAKFAST
We take a pride in giving our visitors the best start to their day, so make sure our breakfasts are hearty and filling. Using only the best locally sourced ingredients, we can cater for all dietary requirements if you give us a little notice.
SERVICE
We have lived in the area all our lives, so can probably answer any of your questions. We will do our very best to make this a holiday a break to remember, so we will give you the best service we possibly can.
BREAKFAST AT ST BRIDGETS
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so we make sure that you start your day at St Bridgets with a hearty breakfast to get you going.
We cater for all tastes, but we recommend you start with our freshly cooked full Welsh breakfast, produced with only the very best local produce.
Other options include scrambled egg and salmon or a continental breakfast. Or, if you need something simpler, how about enjoying the copious amounts of toast we serve up, with Julie’s home made jam?
If you do have any specific dietary requirements just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to make sure you are more than happy with your breakfast.
N.B As this is a farmhouse kitchen every care is taken but as many varied meals are prepared in the same area cross contamination sometimes cannot be avoided.
The building of St Bridgets Farmhouse has been a labour of love for us, and we are so pleased to be able to welcome you into our home on this beautiful piece of Welsh coastline.
